This is the all-ages PC port for the 2013 PS3/Xbox360 game Total Eclipse, which started as a light novel and also had an anime. It focuses on the soldiers at the Yukon Base in the same timeframe as Muv-Luv Alternative. The visuals have been improved and a background story for Yui has been added. Basically there’s not much new content from the console version.
Total Eclipse is set in the same world as Alternative, at Alaska's Yukon base, test site 18, where first-class staff from all over the world regardless of country gather to work on new Tactical Surface Fighters.
The main characters are engineers and pilots and it features many TSFs that failed to show up in Alternative.
