It has a unique system where the guests and staff are free to dress however they want on the ryokan grounds. While it is possible to bring your own clothes, there are some available for rent too. The staff also takes requests from guests on what to wear. However, it is forbidden to be naked outside of the baths, and you can’t touch the staff, as expected.
